2016 Oregon City Roadway Reconstruction Projects

ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: 

$1,800,000 to $2,000,000

SCOPE OF WORK AND BID SUBMITTAL:

Sealed bids for furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, and services for the construction of the 2016 Oregon City Roadway Reconstruction Projects for the City of Oregon City (City), Oregon will be received by John M. Lewis, P.E., Public Works Department, 625 Center Street, Oregon City, Oregon until 2:00 P.M. local time on May 11th, 2016.  Bids received after this time will not be considered.  All bids received prior to the due date and time will be publicly opened and read on the due date and time in the Willamette Falls Room. 

The project includes:

• Furnish, install, and remove temporary traffic control devices and temporary erosion control measures.
• Remove approximately 3,700 cubic yards of asphalt, roadway base, concrete flatwork, and approximately 320 cubic yards of existing PCC roadway panels.
• Install approximately 24 concrete inlets, approximately 290 linear feet of ductile iron and PVC storm sewer pipe, and one sanitary sewer point repair.
• Cold plane approximately 14,500 square yards of asphalt concrete roadway.
• Complete approximately 8,350 square yards of Full Depth Reclamation Base.
• Construct approximately 2,055 CY of aggregate roadway and concrete flatwork base material.
• Construct approximately 11,500 square feet of concrete walks and ramps, 2,500 linear feet of concrete curb and curb and gutter, and 1,100 linear feet of drainage curb.
• Construct approximately 6,350 Tons of 2 to 5-inch thick ACP.
• Replace pavement markings.
• Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.

Solicitation documents may be obtained on this site by creating a new user account and registering for the project.  PLEASE BE AWARE that once you register to be on the planholder's list you cannot be removed; you will continue to get updates on this project during the duration of the bid process.  However, you cannot view the solicitation documents (RFQ Packet) without registering.  General information including the planholder list is available to the public without registering. 

Solicitation documents are also available for review at the City of Oregon City, Public Works Department, 625 Center Street, Oregon City, Oregon 97045 (telephone:503.657.0891), between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.

ADDENDA & CLARIFICATIONS:

Addenda, clarifications and notices will be distributed through this online planholder system; if you are not registered to be a planholder it will preclude you from receiving addenda.  Potential bidders are responsible for ensuring contact information is registered correctly and that email updates are being received and not being sent to spam folders.  It is in the best interest of potential bidders to check this website periodically to ensure all updates are received.  The City is not responsible for failure of bidders to receive notifications of changes or corrections made by the City and posted as stated above.

Questions submitted on this site will be answered individually if considered informal.  Those questions considered to be substantive will be responded to through the addenda process.

PLANHOLDER LIST:
